Board liaison, project management, research and advocacy

Augustina supports SPUR’s work to advance equity through access and affordability. She serves as the organization’s board liaison, supporting the City Directors and serving as the main point of contact to all SPUR board members and local partners. She also assists with housing and land use policy research and advocacy.

Prior to joining SPUR, Augustina worked as a research assistant at the California Housing Partnership, Urban Displacement Project, and Berkeley Law, specializing in local and state housing policy. She also interned at the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda, where she assisted with affordable housing development and finance.

Augustina holds a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from the University of California, Berkeley. When not working, Augustina enjoys exploring by foot, bike and train, likely with a camera in hand.
