Communications and Engagement
Jackson (they/them) plays a vital role in the development and execution of public programs and corporate events, as well as helping to guide how the organization provides educational and engagement opportunities for members of the community. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master’s degree in Urban & Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco.
Before joining SPUR, they interned with the district office of California State Senator Scott Wiener and worked as a research associate with the San Francisco Local Agency Formation Commission. When not working, Jackson enjoys exploring San Francisco’s many green spaces, museums, wine bars, coffee shops, and talking about the Real Housewives.
