Environmental policy, climate resilience, environmental equity and justice

As the Sustainability and Resilience Policy Associate for SPUR, Sarah (she/her) works with stakeholders and community members to develop and increase capacity for sea level rise resilience initiatives, decarbonization efforts for buildings, and clean water access that will advance equity and sustainability in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sarah previously worked as a Renewable Energy Associate at Atlas Renewable Power where she consulted solar and battery developers on energy project implementation using GIS and data analysis. Prior to this position, she worked at the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) where she focused on environmental health, justice, and adaptation issues. Sarah holds a bachelor's of science degree from the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service where she majored in Science, Technology, and International Affairs (STIA) with a concentration on environment and energy.
